Native to the Ecuadorian rainforest, Guayusa is similar to Yerba Mate (but more potent) in that it is has high nutritional values and is a strong stimulant. In fact, guayusa has the highest caffeine content of any plant and the leaves are often re-used to make more than one brew of tea. It has commonly been used to increase energy, relieve pain, improve dream recall and lower blood pressure. 

Guayusa is often used to potentiate other entheogens such as Ayahuasca and Kratom.
